This is the paper clay project that we did last week! Mine is about 7 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide at the widest. It is meant to be an ornament and it can stand on its own! It has negative space and designs on the outside and small projections off each side.
Yesterday we worked with paper clay in class! It is really cool because you can see the fibers, but it is much harder to work with because it's a lot more rigid. Hopefully I can learn how to use this clay better and make cooler stuff!
This is our origami balloon! The first step is making a square and folding all of the corners towards the center, making a 4 legged flower thing shown in the first picture. When you crease all of the sides, you fold all of the corners toward the center of the flower, shown in the third picture! Then, fold the corners toward the center (in the second picture) and insert the loose end
